

Following directives from Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Mohammed bin Rashid Foundation launched the Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Award during the annual Knowledge Conference. The award celebrates and honors pioneers and world-class achievers whom their works contributed in disseminating knowledge and increase awareness about sustainable development.
The award aims to raise awareness about the importance of the dissemination and transfer of knowledge as a means for sustainable development and prosperity of the peoples, as well as to encourage further initiatives and programs that contribute to dissemination, transfer and localization of knowledge around the world.
