In his introduction of his book "Flashes of Inspiration", Sheikh Mohammed noted that the book documents the most important ideas put forward during the Government Summit, which was held last February. The book also reflects Sheikh Mohammed's vision about some of the themes and experiences mentioned at the summit.
Following is the full text of Sheikh Mohammed’s introduction:
In the name of God, I start my speech and in His praise I begin this book.
Some brothers counseled me to transform the discussion session which I had during the Government Summit, held in February 2013, to a book in which we document the most important topics we have discussed and explain our views about some other topics and give detail regarding some situations, experiences and stories that we have mentioned briefly during the meeting.
Like the session, the book is diverse; it is a quick illumination on a variety of topics in management and leadership and in personal life. It also touches on our view of success and our vision for its causes in addition to other topics put forward during the meeting.
I also added some of the topics that were not accommodated by the summit due to the time factor during the meeting, and I gave details and profoundly explained some of the answers that I gave at the meeting.
Finally, I say: I am not a scholar nor pretend to be wise, but these are merely short words and quick messages with which I associated some experiences, and I felt keen to state quick and short ideas and thoughts; we want nothing out of this but to only serve our homeland and benefit our brothers and sons.
