Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has said that the UAE is a nation of peace; a nation that never hesitates to establish and promote causes of peace and justice.
In a statement entitled 'The Emirates of Peace', which was released today in tribute to the UAE Armed Forces who returned home after fulfilling their national duty, as part of the KSA lead Arab Coalition forces participating in Operation Restoring Hope to defend the legitimate government in Yemen, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, said, "The honorable performance of our Armed Forces in the battlefield and their effective contribution towards the victories of the Arab Coalition in Yemen are the best proof that our soldiers maintain high defense and combat readiness, which ensures that our country possesses a shield to protect its soil to guarantee its security and the safety of its people."
Sheikh Mohammed affirmed that as a nation of peace, the UAE never hesitate to establish and promote the causes of peace, defending the values of justice, rightness and goodness to provide immediate relief for everyone at times of distress.
In his statement, Sheikh Mohammed praised the soldiers’ deeds stating that they have lived up to the expectations of their people, and that their heroic acts proved to the whole world that the United Arab Emirates never hesitates to fulfill its duty towards its brothers, and that it never backs away from its firm position.
Sheikh Mohammed also encourage the second batch of soldiers to continue the mission in the battlefield and pleaded them to be united and brave, stand firm and fear nothing but Allah as they defend rights.
